I develop and deliver mental health training covering topics such as - Introduction to Mental Health and wellbeing; Stigma and mental health; What causes mental health problems; Bereavement and loss; Burnout; Symptoms of Depression; Symptoms of Anxiety; Self-care; Factors that support your mental health; Counselling and Psychotherapy; Mindfulness and mental health; Mental health at work; Work-related stress; Work-life balance and mental health; Employee mental health at work; Supporting employee mental health at work; Managing employee mental health at work; Active Listening; Fostering good mental health in the workplace; A mentally healthy workplace; Impact of poor mental health in the workplace; Reasonable adjustments.
As mental health can be a challenging subject, I aim to create a space where delegates feel safe enough to explore what mental health and well-being means to them, whilst challenging any misconceptions and gaining insight into how others experience, overcome and live with mental health issues. Ultimately, delegates have the opportunity to learn about how they can support their mental health and how to respond to others experiencing mental health challenges.
